How to use CutGo on Xiaohongshu, Douyin, and TikTok
CutGo works with web video across the web. YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, Bilibili, and Xinpianchang embed the timeline under the player. Xiaohongshu, Douyin, TikTok, and similar pages use a draggable floating timeline. Same CutGo Timeline, different placement.
Open the web page in Chrome or Edge. In-app players usually cannot be read. Sign-in, DRM, or site changes can still block features.
What you can do
- Frame-step, capture, mark, and clip from the floating timeline.
- Drag it so it does not cover the picture.
- Floating does not mean unsupported—it means the page is a poor fit for embed.
How to do it
- Install CutGo in Chrome or Edge.
- Open the Xiaohongshu, Douyin, or TikTok clip in the browser, not only in the app.
- Wait for the floating timeline; drag it aside if needed.
- Frame-step, screenshot, or export a range as usual.
- If a clip cannot be read, stop. CutGo will not bypass locks.
Where an editor still wins
Long YouTube and Bilibili pages often embed under the player. Short-form web UIs fight for space, so floating is the honest layout.

Does floating mean fewer features?
It is the same CutGo Timeline. A given site may still limit stills, waveform, or export.
