How to screenshot web video precisely — Still Library and stills stacks
A precise web-video screenshot is the exact frame you need, with a timecode attached. On CutGo Timeline, frame-step, click screenshot, download the still, and keep it in the Still Library. CutGo is not a page recorder and not a whole-video downloader.
Stills download is an output in the extension (trial, then Pro). CutGo Studio on the web exports for free. Not an NLE.
What to click
- Open CutGo Timeline on the page.
- Pause and use previous / next frame.
- Click screenshot — the file downloads and lands in the Still Library.
- Add notes or color labels. Export a Stills Stack or Contact Sheet when you need a sequence.
Example: dozens of reference stills in Downloads become unusable. The Still Library keeps timecode order so you can check cuts without guessing filenames.
