How to review web video frame by frame

Ads, action, and transitions often live in one or two frames. CutGo Timeline lets you pause on the original page and step previous or next frame so you can see the hit and the cut. Precision still depends on the site player’s timebase.

What you can do

• Step one presented frame forward or back after pause.
• Mark the moment, then screenshot or set an in-out range.
• Use it before you bother importing the file into an NLE.

How to do it
